Guess God Didn't Want Me To Go To Church

I feel so thankful. My girlfriend Beccah and I were in an accident Sunday morning on the way to church. A gentleman driving in the opposite direction didn't notice us while we were approaching the intersection going about 50mph. He turned left right in front of us and I tried my best to swerve out of his path of travel. It wasn't enough however. He collided with my door (drivers side) and slid all the way to back of the car. This put us into spin and dumped us on the other side of the intersection with some crushed metal and warped pieces. We were able to quickly get out of the car without feeling any immediate harm.

I feel so blessed. Many pedestrians at the intersection immediately came to our aid. Several quickly called 911, others were right beside us to check for injury, and many others were out in the middle of the intersection cleaning up my car parts. It means so much to me that those people weren't bystanders and went out of their way to really make an impact for someone. They've truly inspired me to take the initiative to do the right thing.
