Lamborghini Urus Concept

Lamborghini has released their long awaited SUV concept called the Urus. This unveiling opens a whole new can of worms for the auto industry; Super SUV's. Competition has already commenced as companies fight for king of the hill. Maserati came out with their Kubang SUV concept, Bentley released their EXP 9 F concept and a new company sparked called Eterniti Motors with a model named the Hemera. These models have extraordinary specs. Eterniti claims Hemera will make 620 hp and top out "in excess of 180 mph."
I'm curious if there's really a market for super SUV's. Personally, if I had a couple hundred thousand dollars to spend, I'd look into either a Gallardo LP 570-4 Superleggera, a McLaren MP4-12c or someday putting my children through college. I feel the market for these super machines rely on the Middle East, Russia and China where prosperous fathers need something to shlep their kids around town in. It's a way to get to the community pool faster than everyone else (much faster).
Many roads in Russia have large potholes, bumps, snow and aggressive terrain. With a super SUV, you have the opportunity to cruise the terrain in belligerent style. Personally, I see it as way to off-road with sophistication.
